Chronic Haemodialysis (In Centre treatment)
Chronic Haemodialysis is a life -sustaining treatment for kidney failure patients -uses machine (dialyzer) to filter and clean blood when kidneys can't adequately perform this function, removing waste and excess of fluid from patients blood. Their treatment is out of hospital and in the centre.
Acute Haemodialysis (In-Hospital treatment)
This uses the same principle as chronic haemodialysis except it is performed in hospital settings.it is life -supporting treatment and only performed on newly diagnosed kidney failure patients.
CRRT(Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
CRRT is dialysis modality used to treat critically ill patients with acute kidney injury in Intensive Care Unit(ICU). Its is slow and gentle dialysis that is performed continuously over 24 hours .
Plasma Exchange (TPE)
Plasma Exchange also known as plasmapheresis isa medical procedure that removes plasma from blood and replaces it with substitute fluid. This procedure is used to treat certain conditions where plasma contains harmful substances ,such as abnormal antibodies or proteins. It is performed in Intensive Care Units.

How Much does it Cost to speak with our Renal Clinician.
Our Pre Renal Care consultations are free of charge. All consultations thereafter will be charged at an additional rate.
Do you Accept Insurance?
We accept most medical aids, please contact us if you would like to find out if your medical aid provider is linked to our services.
Can you Prescribe Medication?
Our renal clinician may prescribe certain medications to manage the complications that are frequently associated with kidney disease.

Nephroguard Dialysis offers free Pre-Renal Services as it is an awareness program to inform all individuals of the impact of Chronic Kidney Disease and progression thereof, with specific attention to early detection, prevention and management of the disease by means of clinical and lifestyle interventions .Our goal is to improve and sustain quality of life to benefit communities all over.
Above all it offers 24 hours services all kinds of treatment modalities of kidney failures through Dialysis –Acute Treatments in Hospitals, Chronic Diagnosed patients with renal failure for life sustaining with Dialysis 3x per week for 4 hours on Hemodialysis machine, Peritoneal dialysis –home independent dialysis.
